In continuation of my despatch No. 248 of the 16th
instant, I have the honour to forward copy of a despatch

sing the minutes of an interview with Shông Kung-pao,
Minister of Posts and Communications, at which I pressed
His Excellency to come to an early settlement for the
joint working of the Canton-Kowloon Railway.
